Argentine Mozarteum and the Buenos Aires Music Festivals, with the leading argentine orchestras (National Symphony, Buenos Aires Philharmonic, Mayo Chamber Orchestra, “San Isidro” Symphony, Bahía Blanca, Córdoba, Mendoza, Tucumán and Entre Ríos Symphony Orchestras), in national music festivals (Bariloche Musical Spring, Salta Cultural April, Mendoza Chamber Music Festival, Bariloche Musical Camp, Llao Llao Music Week, Rosario Bach Festival) and in the most prominent music centres of its country . With
grants from the San Telmo Foundation, the Antorchas Foundation and
the Colón Foundation, this ensemble attended chamber music master
classes with Norbert Brainin (Amadeus Quartet) during the Barga
International Festival (Italy) and with Menahem Pressler (Beaux Arts
Trio) at the Bariloche Music Camp (Argentina) and the Banff Centre
School of Fine Arts (Canada).
It
has also successfully toured Europe (Spain, Italy, France, Austria,
Germany, Holland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Czechoslovakia, Denmark and
Poland), Latin America (Chile, Uruguay, Brazil, Venezuela,
Ecuador, Colombia), various regions of the ex Soviet Union and
the United States (Carnegie Recital Hall, New York and Library of
Congress, Washington). The
San Telmo Trio was invited to participate in numerous International
Festivals: Piccolo Spoleto Festival (South Carolina, USA),
Chamber Music Festival (Salzburg, Austria), Banff Festival of the
Arts (Canada), Roca de Santo Domingo (Chile) Festival Internationale
Musique Espèrance (Bergérac, France) and the XXX International
Cervantine Festival (México). It
has recorded for the Radios in Copenhagen, Madrid and Luxembourg
(with the Radio-Tele Luxembourg Orchestra directed by Leopold
Hager); in Argentina, for IRCO, Spacio and Radio Clásica.
In 1999 it was awarded the Merit Diploma by the Konex Foundation.
